NYIBC TRIP
TO NJ 2/23/2008

Once again - the NYIBC took to the road.
At 9:30 AM - two buses assembled at the
Coliseum, taking over 100 NYIBC members to
visit the Prudential Center for our first
visit to the new arena in Downtown Newark.
Although the score of the game was not to
our liking (a 4-2 loss), the club had a
great time, and enjoyed the new facility.
There was lots of room on the concourses,
many food and drink options and a great
area, where instead of your seats, you could
sit in the back with a table, and a small TV
that you could get the feed to the game.
As Ron's wife Ariana is pregnant with twins,
we sat up there, and enjoyed the game.
The Pru is not as frigid as it was in the
Meadowlands, and the sightlines are fine.
However, you are quite high, and unlike
Montreal, you are not really on 'top' of the
ice.
