BUFFALO, NY -
August 14, 2006. Since 1970 - the NHL
Booster Club Convention has been held every
August. This year, for the third time,
the Buffalo Sabres Booster Club were the
hosts, and it was a fantastic event had by
all.
The New York
Islanders Booster Club sent 17 members to the
event, and all had a great time. This
convention is an event that brings hundreds of
fans from across the country and Canada to a
city, for a week of trips, camaraderie and
common love of the game of hockey.
From the Bisons
Baseball, to Wings and Beer; from the Erie
Canal, to Niagara Falls - we visited and
enjoyed all that Buffalo has to offer.
I took some
pictures during this event, and I am looking
for more from the NYI Boosters that attended,
along with anyone else that attended from our
fellow Fan/Booster Clubs. If you
