MEETING WITH MIKE SILLINGER - FEBRUARY 20, 2007

The latest meeting of the New York Islanders
Booster Club was held on Tuesday, February
20th at the Long Island Marriott.
Mike
Sillinger, the hero from the previous nights
game versus the Penguins was our guest.
To be honest, out of all the players that
have visited the club over the years, I feel
that he was the best guest we have had.
Not only was he extremely eloquent, and
funny, but he explained a great deal of
issues with honesty and clearly that
everyone seemed to understand.
The 16
year, 12 team veteran, was probably one of
our funniest visitors in quite some time.
And he was gracious enough to accept a beer
from one of our members. Hey Mike,
this Bud's for you!
