UNIONDALE, NY -
The Booster Club have been waiting for this
meeting for quite a long time. A chance
to get a get-together with our captain, Alexei
Yashin.
Unfortunately,
Alexei went to another Islanders function by
mistake. However, Alexei made sure that
not only to make the meeting, but spend some
time, talking to the Boosters and sign
autographs and take pictures.
The Booster Club
would like to thank Alexei for making sure
that everyone left the meeting happy.
Also we would like to thank Ann from the
Islanders Community Relations Department for
her help. And lastly, thanks to the
nearly 100 people that made the meeting and
had a good time. We hope to see you at
the next meeting on the 11th.
